DIVINE HEALING IS FOR TODAY

Dear Hal,
Hi! My name is Liza Daligdig-Peralta. I

called you on January 6, 2007 to pray for my heart condition. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF) in November last year in which I was hospitalized for 5 days. My heart ejection fraction was at 15% which was very, very low. I was given some heart medications but these were very low dosages. The normal heart ejection fraction is 55% - 60%. I believed that when you prayed for me that I received my healing. I had a heart "muga" test on Feb. 26, 2007 and the result of my heart ejection fraction was 52%. I had another heart "muga" test on May 3, 2007 and the result was at 51%. I thank God for bringing my heart back to normal. My doctors said that this was such a tremendous result. I called it a miracle.
So I want to thank you very much for your prayer. I know that Jesus is so good. I thank Jesus that He listened to your prayer that day when I called you to pray for me.
I cried when I think about you today. I am just touched knowing that there is someone like you that God is using to help a lot of sick people. The Bible says that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Thank you again, Hal. God bless you and take care.

Dear Hal,
Yes, you can share my healing experience regarding my heart condition with others on your website. I want you to know that I thank the Lord Jesus for your ministry.
Also, I want you to know that yesterday, I called you on the phone to pray for my sprained ankle that was hurting very badly. I could not walk before I called you. In fact, my husband had to carry me the whole day on Monday. After you prayed for my foot, the pain subsided and I was able to walk and go out to dinner with my husband last night. Today, my ankle feels so much better.
I so believe that the Lord Jesus still heals in our present generation. He is faithful and so interested in healing the sick.
Thank you again, Hal. God bless you and take care.
Liza

HEALING TESTIMONY

Following is an email that I received:

The short story:
Dear Hal, about one week ago, we phoned you from here in Pennsylvania to ask you to prayer for my wife Sheryl who was passing blood. She was even in pain at that moment which was quickly relieved by the mercy of God because of your prayer. By the next morning there was no longer any evidence of the condition.

The full story:

On Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, I phoned Cheryl in the evening. She informed me that she was passing blood. When I came home that night, I saw the dark red blood myself. The next day we contacted a medical doctor, who wanted us to make arrangements for both an endoscopy and colonoscopy. On Monday, Oct. 7th, we went to a different medical doctor for his opinion. After examining Cheryl, he immediately changed her diet from raw foods to cooked and put her on zantac thinking she had gastritis and/or a bleeding ulcer. And he personally called the doctor who would do the endoscopy and subsequently the colonoscopy for her. Two days later she was scheduled for her endoscopy. After the procedure, I (Dan) went to talk with the doctor. He told me he found nothing! I specifically asked him, “You found no bleeding ulcer?” He answered, “No.” I asked another question: “Was there any stomach irritation?” “No,” he answered and said again: “I found nothing.” Then he added that he did see dried specks of blood like coffee grounds, but had no idea where they came from. I told him, “Maybe the Lord healed her.” He replied, “Maybe.”The next day, we returned for Cheryl’s colonoscopy After it was finished, I was again sent back to talk to the doctor about his findings. He said, “She is normal. There is nothing wrong. Are you sure she was bleeding?” I said I was sure because I had seen the blood for myself. He said three times that she was “normal.” Thus the medical examination confirmed that she was totally healed.

PROOF TEXTS

There is no such thing as a proof text to those who reserve the right to interpret it in the context of their own presupposition.

GOD'S FORGIVENESS

Repentance is the key that opens the door to God's forgiveness.
\you just cannot have one without the other.
And so many Christians try to pick the lock.

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

Pentecost Sunday or Pentecost someday?

SOMETHING TO PONDER

Here is a scripture you may care to ponder.

Luke 11:9-13
I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Notice that Jesus is speaking to children of God who are filled with the Spirit.
What then are they told to ask seek and knock to receive if it is not the power measure of the Holy Spirit? Pentecost?

PENTECOST SUNDAY

The cost of Pentecost was the cross. Yet in many churches it is the day of Pentecost lost.

CHILDREN

For parents to expect obedience from their children, they must set an example of their obedience to their Parent -- their Heavenly father. Just as our children must do things they dislike, parents should demonstrate that they are willing to do for their Father some things that they may not like doing. Christian parents who are only doing for God the things they like cannot expect their children to do otherwise.

GOD'S COMING ATTENTION-GETTTER

The events described ithe book of Reveleation that will occur before Christ returns shows the extremea God will be going to in order to get the world's attentionin.

Why then are there those today who are not listening before it is too late?

PERHAPS FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT

Our commission

Jesus as a man became,
to take my blame,
to bear my shame,
and heal the lame.
And we're to now proclaim,
In His Holy name,
and by the Holy Spirit's flame,
...........the same.
May it be our aim.

The Big Question

What purpose do we serve,
If we never have the nerve,
to share our faith
,...without reserve?
For fear we'll turn whoever off,
That some will turn away and scoff.
But keep it bottled up inside,
Because of pride.
We're to be forever bold,
Until our story's told,
...and sold.
And then we'll know a joy untold,
And later get a crown of gold.
So we're to go our way,
And say our say,
Without delay,
...today.And it will pay,
When we go away,
Someday.
..to stay,...I pray.

SHOW AND THEN TELL

If the church wants to promote their beliefs they need to demonstrate that they can do something those who are not Christians cannot do.

Such is heal the sick, cast out demons and other supernatural signs and wonders.

OUR BELIEFS

Our beliefs may save us but it is our works that earn the perks.

CARNALITY

When we constantly give priority to the temporal over the eternal, the material over the spiritual, and time with the world over time with our Lord, we are establishing habits that, the longer they are practiced, the harder they will be to break. In time, they will be unbreakable -- and fatal!

BIBLE STUDY

If we are not aplying our Bible study, there is no tpoint in doing it.

BUSINESS

Being retired, I am often asked what I do to keep busy. It is as if our goal in life is to be constantly engaged in some activity. Is it any wonder, then, that so many Christians cannot find time for Bible study, Bible classes, or fellowship with God? One of the devil's most effective weapons is to encourage our worldly busyness. Be reminded that the enemy of the best is something good.

UNANSWERED PRAYER

If we are asking God to do something for us and it does not happen, we might try asking Hm if we can do something for Him first.

FOLLOWING JESUS

Following Jesus is a walk where the first step is to get to know Him. Then the walk is learning to follow His example.

THE LATEST WORD

I believe the Holy Spirit was sent to indwell us as ,among other things, to be our Updater and Bible supplementer. He will never contradict His word but will fill in the gaps where the Bible is silent. The spiritual gift of the word of knowledge is His instrument.

BIBLE STUDY

Bible study that starts with no clear goal in mind is merely an intelectual exercise.

We should first seek to find out what we are called to do and then study up on what we need to know to do it.

GOD'S WILL

Since the natural makes us comfortable, and God's supernatural makes us uncomfortable, naturally most churches willfully avoid the supernatural. Naturally, that means they are not in God's will and never will be.

GREEk AND HEBREW STUDY

Those Bible students who study Greek and Hebrew must feel it gives them an edge over the less enlightened who consider the available translations sufficiently accurate for them.

They must feel it gives tham an edge to be able to say, "however, in the Greek" over others.

On the other hand, those who depend on the Author, the Holy Spirit, their Teacher, for their understanding would do well not to say so since they would be cosidered presumptious.

DOCTRINAL BASLANCE

Although Scripture does not use the word "balance," we are to be in balance. We are in balance when we are in the perfect will of God. We are not all called to the same work, so no one can judge whether someone else is in balance or not.
